Atlanta 2019

Driving around Atlanta, Georgia, I was able to find some great murals in the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood, Ponce City Market area and on the West Side of Atlanta.

Greg Mike's cartoon-like murals were a great sight along with his mural for Porsche. Queen Andrea's 'Self Made in the ATL' mural and James Bullough's full-wall female model mural in the Ponce City Market area were pretty cool! Not too far from those were J. Fleming's 'two naked females' and Big Gipp murals. Muhammad Yungai had two murals that were on my 'shoot list'...'We Shall Always March Ahead' in Vine City, and a nice likeness mural of Colin Kaepernick in the Old Fourth Ward. Keenan Chapman's 'Nipsey Hussle' mural, in Vine City was another nice likeness mural. Also in the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood, Loss Prevention's 'Hero' mural of Congressman John Lewis was pretty powerful along with a strong quote from the Congressman right next to it. I also captured Fabian Williams' two murals of former Georgia House Democratic leader Stacey Abrams and Madam CJ Walker, the wealthiest black woman and wealthiest self-made woman in America at the time of her death in 1919. And along Marietta Street I captured two 'Atlanta' murals as well.
