Springfield 2012

Springfield...The "Land Of Lincoln", the birthplace of our 16th President and also the place where the 44th and current President, Barack Obama announced his run for office on the Old Capitol Building steps. This was my first visit to Springfield, and I found it to be rural, yet modern. Abraham Lincoln's "stamp" is definitely all over Springfield. But it's definitely a place to visit with some very interesting sights. I really had a good time there.
