Indianapolis 2015...I

On my way to Atlanta, I stopped in downtown Indianapolis and grabbed a few photos before getting back on the road. It was very hot in NapTown, but I had my trusted share of water and gatorade handy to quench my thirst. I got there around lunchtime as I saw people going from restaurant to restaurant to get their eat on, and to get out of that dry heat into some friendly air conditioning. While walking, I made my way onto Washington Street and photographed the PNC Center, which is a huge office building as well as a Hyatt Hotel. Also in view was the Indianapolis Artsgarden, and lots of yellow bicycles that are part of the new Indiana Pacers Bike Share program. I then walked over to the Indiana State Capitol Building, where I captured a couple of statues that I hadn't seen before. From there I walked over to Monument Square to photograph the Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument. On my way back to the car, I walked past Weber Grill, and grabbed a sandwich from the Hard Rock Cafe for the road. But before getting back on I-65 South, I drove over to Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Indianapolis Colts.
