Milwaukee Zoo 2015
The Milwaukee County Zoo is probably my favorite zoo outside of Chicago. It's very wide open and the animals are easily accessible(except my favorite Cheetahs). On this day we had nice, hot weather and most of the animals were out...except the big cats. But the animals I photographed this day were: African Spurred Tortoise, Amur Tiger, Greater Kudu, Bactrian Camel, Black Rhinoceros, African Elephants, Reticulated Giraffe, Caribou, Flamingo, Humboldt Penguin, Jaguar and Polar Bear. The zoo actually had a pregnant Giraffe that was due any minute. That would have been an exciting capture for sure! I found out days later, the new Giraffe was born. I guess another trip to Milwaukee is in order...
